Worship stands at
the center of our mission, grounding all of our
ministries in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We value
a cherished liturgical tradition, while remaining
open to newer styles and forms of worship and
praise. |

| Holy Communion
is celebrated each weekend at all services. We
welcome to the Lord’s Table all baptized Christians
who share with us the belief that in Holy Communion,
the Risen Lord Jesus offers to us the forgiveness of
sins, renewal of life, and salvation. First
Communion instruction is offered in the 6th grade;
those who have not yet had communion instruction are
invited forward for a blessing. |
| Our worship schedule
also includes services on special festivals and holy
days, midweek Advent and Lenten services, and
occasional healing services. |
| Many people
enjoy serving at worship, and we delight in a large
number of members who serve as ushers, acolytes,
greeters, assisting ministers, lectors, Altar Guild
members, banner makers, communion servers, choir
members and other musicians, etc. The possibilities
are vast – the joys of serving are wonderful!
