Music
is an integral part of the worship life of Holy Trinity Lutheran
Church. Ann Buland, Director of Music Ministries, encourages everyone
to use their musical gifts in the following ways: |
| |
Chancel Choir |
|
The adult Chancel choir leads the
congregation in worship at the Sunday Services, offers anthems of
sacred music from many historical periods, and participates in
concerts, hymn festivals and other musical events. High school and
college students are also encouraged to participate in the Chancel
Choir |
| |
Contemporary Worship Ensemble |
|
This ensemble includes singers,
guitarists, a percussionist, and keyboard players who lead the
contemporary worship service at 5:00 pm on Saturdays and the second
Sunday of the month at alternating services. The ensemble is open to
teens and adults and features music from the Worship and Praise
songbook. |
| |
Voices of Praise |
|
This middle school and elementary
age youth choir sings throughout the school year, usually at the
11:00 am Sunday worship service. |
| |
Trinity Bells |
|
Our handbell choir performs music
for 3-5 octaves of bells, participates in concerts and other musical
events, and provides special music on a regular schedule at the
Sunday services. |
| |
Trinity Brass |
|
Trumpets, trombones, French horn,
euphonium, tuba, piano and drums are included in this group. They
play special music for various worship services throughout the year,
at festival services and for Christmas eve and Easter. |
| |
Trinity Strings |
|
Our newest ensemble includes
violins, string bass, cello and piano. Special music is presented
for worship services. Little Strings is a violin class offered to
train young musicians. |
| |
Soloists |
|
There are many
opportunities throughout the year, especially the summer months, for vocal
and instrumental soloists to share their talents. Saturday and Sunday
services, special festivals and concerts all can be enhanced with the
contribution of instruments and vocal solos from all age groups. |
